JAMIE WOON – Street
Le clash entre le p’tit beat joyeux et la voix mielleuse du chanteur m’a tout de suite charmée. Je n’avais pas obsédé comme ça sur une chanson depuis un petit bout.
The clash between the joyful beat and Woon’s smooth voice immediatly charmed me. I haven’t had a song on repeat like this in a while.
STARFUCKER – Altantis
Ce n’est vraiment plus un secret pour personne, j’adore ce band et tout ce qu’il fait. Cette chanson n’est pas une exception. Même qu’à cause des différentes (et délicieuses) couches de la mélodie, elle fera sûrement partie de mes favorites.
It’s no secret that I have nothing but love for this band and everything they do. This song is no exception. I even think that, because of all the different (awesome) layers of the melody, it might soon become one of my favourites.
MS MR – Fantasy
Ce groupe New Yorkais a accompli l’impossible (pas vraiment impossible, là…): sortir un EP où TOUTES les chansons sont bonnes. Voilà qu’ils ont sorti la première chanson de leur prochain album. Ça promet déjà!
This New York band accomplished the impossible (well… not THAT impossible): putting out an EP where ALL the songs are awesome. This week, they released the first song off their upcoming album. Very promissing!
LIL JON – Get Low (STRFKR Remix)
Qu’est-ce que je vous disais?… Starfucker, je les aime presque d’amour. Ce remix, quant à moi, c’est du pur génie. Il y a un mixtape disponible juste ici avec plusieurs autres chansons du genre.
What did I tell you? I have the biggest crush on them. This remix is pure genius. And, behold!, there’s an entire mixtape available right thurr.
A$AP ROCKY – LVL
Cette chanson est sur le récent album du roi des ASAP; Long.Live.A$AP. Elle me rappel un peu Bass dans l’ambience générale de la chanson et comme pour Bass, ce fut le coup de coeur immédiat.
This song is off the king of all A$APs recent album; Long.Live.A$AP. It reminds me of Bass in a way: the general feeling of the song and, just like Bass, it was love at first listen.
